Over the last 10 years, I have produced critical essays, learning materials, reading lists, & resources mostly on my own & for free. It has not been easy work, but it is necessary. Providing contextually accurate & free content is part of the work that is central to ensuring that as many people as possible can be provided with the tools needed to facilitate a political education that is grounded in decolonial philosophies & knowledge production.
I recently earned my Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, & Conservation Biology studying Du Boisian sociology, STS/HASTS, race/ism, human health demography, evolutionary genetics, & theoretical population genetics. I’ve spent the last ~ 9 years being an overworked & underpaid full time.
